AFRICAN LASS
Related to country: Kenya

Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Silent breeze sweep over blue sky vast.
Sea waves rock from a distance in a hearty dance.
On miles of sandy shores; a man walk in haste.
Calling for an African daughter; carried away by waves.
Over the seas rocking boat; with pads of passion.
Whisperings a sweet name to the monsoon winds.

Soul scarred in vast deserted loneliness.
He weep to miss magi touch of loveliness.
Wishing for wings to fly near
Almond eyes watered looks inside a lone heart.
Tears imbue soul for precious time now hurts.

World is quite; no more melodious laughter.
Neither the plumbing sensation of nature’s violin strings.
Nor half moon smile of an African lass.
Memories embalmed in heart since that day of spring.
Visions and hopes lives on in fading twilights.
